Staying in a Homestay

A family home is a place where we all feel safe, relaxed and comfortable. With filming of ‘Daddy, Where are we Going?’ in Rotorua, it was important that the Chinese celebrity children felt safe. A long-way from home, in a completely foreign culture and without their mothers’ comfort, these children (aged 3 – 8 years) quickly adopted their new kiwi Host families.

有安全感是十分重要的。远离家乡,身处一个完全陌生的异国文化,没有自己母亲的陪伴,这些3-8岁的孩子们很快就适应了他们在新西兰全新的寄宿家庭。

New Zealander’s are naturally hospitable

75 minutes (of the 200 that aired in China) featured the central theme - focusing on the interaction between the Chinese and New Zealand families. Naturally hospitable, the Rotorua Host families extended a warm welcome, making their guests feel at ease. The Homestays were all very clean and comfortable, and ranged from simple and humble to stylish and modern, and even included the luxury yacht, Pure Cruise.
