Visitors Book

There's something so magical about the far North of New Zealand! Inspiring and majestic forests, stunning beaches and engaging with local Maori culture. We highly recommend coming to stay with Lisa and William - you'll just love it! With hearts of gold, warm, social and aroha (love) abound, you'll be made to feel most welcome in this beautifully appointed Northland Homestay. While in the area, you really must explore the Herekino Forest and Raetea Forest with it's lovely Mangamuka Scenic Reserve. Still close enough to Kaitaia (only 11km away), yet you'll feel like you are off the treadmill. Come and enjoy cultural and natural immersion handy to so many iconic Northland tourist destinations.

It's amazing to have such warmth in the middle of the freezing NZ winter on a farm, William and Lisa were great hosts and I think 2 nights weren't enough to experience the best of the Northland. I had a really tranquil experience at their place and will definitely be back one day! If anyone's heading up to North, do visit them or surf with them, one of the best people you can have a conversation about everything under the sun. Kia ora, family in a different land x (:

How to begin with ? Right, the Mcnab family : you could'nt find people nicer, more welcoming. It has been so nice talking about life, about NZ, about our lives and experiences with them ! You can feel that you have found a new family! The only regret is not having had the possibility to stay longer with them. Then their home: it is a place you can call home because it is so comfy, and nice. You will sleep very well, and enjoy a much more than beautiful landscape outside. And having the opportunity to share this with the Mcnab is more than you could ever want to. Let's not forget the dog which is so cute and funny that even if your not so dog friendly, you will just want to cuddle it ! If you are in NZ, come and meet the Mcnabs ! And if you are not in NZ, come in NZ, visit the Northland and meet this great family !
