Beautiful Bed and Breakfast, set on 14 acre acres of land on the outskirts of Christchurch. Offering four queen guest rooms with guest bathrooms, stylishly furnished with new beds and linen. Your hosts Andrew and Christine are experienced and welcoming and have extensive local knowledge about the Christchurch and Canterbury region. They enjoy sports and are very social. Guests are welcome to wander around the beautifully landscaped 1 - 2 acres of gardens or use the tennis court and spa. Would suit travelling sales reps or business men/women needing affordable, beautiful accommodation in Christchurch. West Melton is the gateway to Canterbury's skifields (Mt Hutt ski village Methven). Could be a great base to explore the lakes district (Pukaki and Tekapo) or exploring the many local wineries. There is also an observatory in West Melton with amazing night sky viewing. If you are keen on fishing, Newlands B&B is a short drive from the Waimakariri and Rakaia rivers. Could be ideal accommodation for those visiting Burnham Military Camp.
