About this place

Hikurangi StayPlace is a Lodge by the river in Wanganui. It is situated in over 1 hectare of lovely grounds with trees, gardens and many native birds. Outdoor courtyard with barbeque available and plenty of off-street parking. We promise an affordable stay for all guests and our lodgings are divided into three sections: Queen, Twin, Single and Shared rooms and most have ensuites. Hikurangi Stay Place also has economy rooms with shared facilities. A great alternative to motels and hotels in Whanganui, especially if you are worried about your budget. You can count on the basic essentials in a cosy environment and that's what makes us different. A continental breakfast is available for an extra cost and delicious coffees are available all day. Free WiFi and a large Games Room with table tennis, indoor bowls and a pool table. Close to State Highways 3 and 4 and just a 15 minute walk along the river to the city.
